30 day book challenge for day 6 - Day 6 - A book you either couldn’t finish or struggled to. Again I mentioned this book in most hated was Moby Dick Hermin Melville, and for the same reason. 12 pages of describing the ship decking and lots of other examples like that by the time anything was actually happening I was too dulled down to grasp on catch it. Then put into it they are hunting an animal I think even if it had been a great read I wouldn't have enjoyed it.
I did finish it (it took a week). No matter how bad a book is I can't not finish it which is an annoying habit I have.
If you want to take part in the challenge the details are

Very good idea! I can't wait to read the responses and get some ideas for books to read. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and following A Helicopter Mom! I'm following back now.

I'm a day behind, but I really really struggled with One Day by David Nicholls. So many people loved it, but I found it monotonous and the characters annoying. Took me ages to read it!
